Since 2017, Vanessa Sherrer has been a committed Peer Support Specialist, known for her warmth, calm presence, and genuine honesty in every interaction. At Genuine Guardians, she prioritizes real care, openness, and steady support, offering a safe, welcoming environment for clients on their personal journeys. She’s passionate about meeting people where they are, building trust, and guiding them toward lasting, positive change.
Certified expertise & advocacy
Beyond her extensive peer support experience, Vanessa is a Certified Professional Guardian and Conservator through Superior Court in Washington State. This allows her to ensure individuals receive the vital protection, advocacy, and financial oversight they need. She is also a Certified Professional Collector (CPC), specializing in accurate alcohol and substance use testing, further broadening her capacity to serve. Her commitment extends into the community, where she enjoys partnering with individuals, families, and organizations to create meaningful impact and promote stability across Washington State.
